I can't believe it's day 19 already!! We're on to chapter six, the chapter where Candace encourages us to accept who we are with the reminder that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. On page 71 she writes:
God created each one of us in our own unique way. Just like a snowflake we all hold a blueprint that differs one from another. It's great to lose weight and keep our bodies healthy and strong, but it's also important that we appreciate who we are today--with or without extra pounds. ~ Candace Cameron Bure, Reshaping it AllWith that thought in mind, I'd love to invite you to read a post that I wrote this week called, "Learning to Smile Again." The message speaks to me, and I know that it will also speak to many of you. Whether you are hiding behind your weight, your-less-than-perfect smile, or a disability this letter will bring your comfort:

taking on the big and the bad of LA. =) Perez Hilton. Good interview. I'm not a fan when people ask if you have "always been so religious." She looked great and spoke wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteI'm itching to write my book, but think God wants me to wait as well. I've got so much more to experience!
