Reshaping it All - Day 50

Reshaping it All - Day 50

A Pinch of Practicality from Reshaping it All...

If you've lost weight or you want to maintain, make sure your clothing fits well, and alter any clothing that doesn't. Don't hang on to large sizes because it only gives you an excuse to put the lost weight back on. It's one thing to have a few comfy sweatpants for days you feel bloated, but don't keep a pair of over-sized jeans.

If you dropped a few sizes, there isn't any reason the size twelves should still be hanging around unless you expect to return to that size. Clean out the old clothes and believe that this change is for good. Give them to your favorite charity, or send them off to a friend, but get them out of your sight.

If the big clothes are gone and your pants start to fill snug, you won't have anything to fall back on. The only choice you'll have is to buckle down on bad habits again.

Maintaining is a lot easier than letting ten pouds creep up and having to go at it all over again.

  1. on this last day i would love to enter this. I'v been reading your book since iv got it ( June 1/11) and i must say: it's going better everyday!! It already goes easier to make the good choices and it's a good thing to write it down every end of the day. That also gives a way of control and it stops thinking about it all day! And that gives a way of freedom!
Well i wanna thank you so much for writing it all it's such a insperation! And one thing.. i'm verry happy with the Bible verses in it.. sometimes it's difficult to understand everything in english.. but i can read the verses in my own Bible so i get a deeper view of it.

  2. Just filled up a big black trash bag myself. Will see if my Mom, who is still a little bigger than me wants any of it. The rest will go to the Thrift Store.
