Day 4 of Reshaping it All!

Reshaping it All ~ Day Four

Today we're finishing up Chapter one "A Full House of My Own," but don't worry--if you haven't got your book yet, you won't be left behind. We have plenty of motivation to come!! Chapter one has given us the chance to introduce ourselves, and tell you what lies ahead--chapter two is where we start digging into the deep stuff.

But before we move on, let's take a look at Candace's secret to success: putting God first in our plan to lose weight. Really, all else is second isn't it?

Sure we can get into smaller sized pants, or find increased energy when we eat the right food, but we'll never truly be happy until we make change from the inside out.
"Starting a diet or buying a new shade of lipstick won't put you on a path to freedom. I might make you feel good on the outside, which is a natural part of your womanhood, but the change must begin with the transformation by the Sprit--the renewing of our minds." Candace Cameron Bure, Reshaping it All, page 8.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:1-2
In the next sixty-one days, as we go through each chapter of the book, Candace and I are going to encourage you, and show you how to fill that empty space that calls out for food. If you haven't joined us on this journey to reshape your life, I encourage you to do it now. Get connected by adding your name below or commenting on this post. There are plenty of women here who are taking this challenge together. God can change your life today!

Darlene Schacht, co-author of Reshaping it All.

  1. Thanks for thinking also of the Europeans! :)
I'm still waiting for the book to arrive. I heard so many great things about it and I ordered it almost 4 weeks ago... it should arrive within 2-6 weeks so I'm pretty excited! It's much easier to follow your thoughts if you have the book and you can read it along.
    God bless you!

  20. I have the book, but I haven't started it yet, as I am in the middle of another and find it difficult to follow two books at once. I can't review a book I haven't read yet, but I will be more than happy to promote it on my Facebook account. I can send you a link to the account, but it is not public, so I'm not sure if you will be able to see it. 30. This is way past the original launch of the challenge, but having read the book several years ago and now at my highest weight and lowest low after having my first baby - I've rediscovered it. Can't wait to get back on track with all this encouragement.
