It helps me see that I eat about the same amount.<br /><br />I also haven't lost or gained anything. I guess that is good. Though, I think I've discovered why I gained weight....the medication I am taking. So it really isn't my fault for gaining weight from med's for a second time. I was able to lose 30 pounds in a year only to gain cause of med's which my doctor told me I wouldn't gain weight but a comercial said there is weight gain. Seriously, did you write this just for me?? :) <br /><br />Weight has always been an issue for me. Over the past few years, I've learned quite a bit about nutrition, eating healthy, exercise, etc. But I still have hard a hard time losing the final 25 pounds. <br /><br />In my case, I think you've hit the nail on the head with the spiritual side of things. I'm trying to find the balance between the work I (need) to do - eating, exercise - and letting God be in control rather then me controlling it (epic fail!) :)<br /><br />In an earlier post (?), you mentioned that you love Pilates. Wedding dancing is so much fun and great exercise! Plus...everyone else looks just as silly so it's a win-win situation! :)<br />I've also found that I can't even buy Nutella, I definitely don't have the willpower to avoid it once it's in my cabinet! By the way, how did I not know it even existed until last year???<br />I found something that helps me make good food choices during the day. On Sunday afternoon, usually, I sit down and plan a menu for our week. I see what I have on hand and what I don't goes on the grocery list. Then, instead of standing in the pantry every night wondering what to fix while my stomach is growling and one or more kids are "SO hungry" I just check the menu list.
